Child Therapy
At Thrive Wellbeing & Counselling Services, Emily provides therapy for children aged 5–12.
Sessions offer a calm and supportive space where children can make sense of their feelings, learn practical coping tools and build confidence in managing everyday challenges.
Emily works alongside each child and their family to strengthen resilience, support emotional growth and promote overall wellbeing.

Therapy Style
Emily is a Level 2 EMDR trained Therapist who tailors her approach to each young person’s unique needs and strengths.
She blends evidence-based techniques like CBT, mindfulness, psycho education, elements of art therapy and relaxation strategies to create practical, supportive plans that truly fit each child.

Working from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, Emily partners with families, schools, and support networks to ensure progress continues beyond the therapy room—helping children and families feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.
Special Interests
Emily specialises in supporting girls aged 8–12 who are experiencing anxiety or beginning to withdraw from school, friendships or activities they once enjoyed.
She’s passionate about helping girls build confidence, develop coping skills and strengthen resilience so they can reconnect with themselves and others.
