Therapy For Women
Emily provides counselling and wellbeing support for women through all stages of life. She works with women experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, motherhood, emotional challenges, life transitions and difficult experiences in a way that feels supportive, practical and personalised.
Her approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence based practice. Sessions are tailored to each individual and draw on therapeutic approaches including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness to support emotional wellbeing and meaningful change.
Therapy provides dedicated time to focus on yourself, better understand what is happening and develop practical tools that support everyday life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to book. However, if you would like to access Medicare rebates, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
How often should I attend?
This varies depending on your goals and circumstances. Some women attend short term support, while others prefer ongoing therapy.
What if I have never had therapy before?
That is completely okay. The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy and discuss what support may be most helpful.
